Intermediate School Advisory Program
Upon entering the Intermediate School, each student is assigned a faculty advisor. The faculty advisor is responsible for monitoring the academic and social well being of the students assigned. The purpose is to keep an open line of communication between teachers, students and parents. Parents are encouraged to contact their child's advisor with any information which may affect their child's performance throughout the school year.

Students can discuss any concerns or problems as they meet with their advisor. Peer problems may be referred by the advisor for mediation. Conversations are kept in strict confidence.

Advisory groups meet on a weekly basis during lunch. Grades are discussed individually at each reporting period so that advisors can make students aware of their academic standing.
